Amanda lives in Bremerton, WA. with her playful and energetic pup, Nala, where she works as the Social Communication Specialist for a local school district. Her role involves supporting Special Education staff to develop and implement highly-structured and individualized programs for students with Autism and those exhibiting challenging behaviors. With 13 years of experience working with students of diverse needs, Amanda consistently learns from every student and staff she works with. Her passion to help students thrive, regardless of their abilities or past, has continued to offer opportunities for Amanda to become a more experienced and well-rounded trainer, equipping staff with tools and strategies to help de-escalate a student in crisis.
Amanda has poured into camp ministry for the last 13 years, seeing God work in mighty ways. Amanda’s passion to teach children about God continues to grow each year as she experiences the joy and simple faith of a child.
